We just want to share our excitement with you!  The Prayer Shawl ministry has now reached out to over three hundred people. The prayer shawls have been given mainly to people in our area, but some have been sent all over the country.  They have been given to comfort those who need to know someone cares and is praying for them.  They have also been given to celebrate such occasions as the birth of a baby. 

We have many hands that are helping with this project, but we could definitely use more.  Pastor Ann has the directions and may even have some yarn to get you started.  The members of the congregation are our messengers letting us know who might need one and often delivering it.  If you would like to give someone a prayer shawl, just call the office and one will be made available for you.

Looking for a Tech Crew!!

Are you interested in learning to work the video camera, or operate the sound system for worship?  Are you willing to be available to tape the CCN broadcasts during the week as needed?  We are looking for those interested in the technical side of church life.  If you are interested in being on a team for this ministry, please talk to Pastor Ann or to Kent Thompson (Chair of Adult Ministries).  We do need you—and this is a great way to share your gifts and talents in expanding our ministry.
