As SonForce kids special agents, they will follow in the words of Joshua 1:9:

Be strong and courageous.

Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged,

for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

The SonForce Kids headquarters is located on a satellite orbiting high above the earth.  In this hi-tech command center, SonForce agents gather to prepare for their five Daily Missions:

Trust! Unite! Train! Follow! Lead!

Throughout VBS, your students will have the opportunity to grow in their understanding of what it means to serve God with courage as they advance from Level 1 to Level 5 agents. So get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure.  SonForce Kids—courageous kids on a mission for God!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS FOR ADULTS ALSO:

While the kids are being “SonForce Kids,” the Pastors will have two classes to challenge adults to grow in their faith

This is a repeat from our Legacy Campaign and is the small group study we used throughout the church.  But we all can use a refresher course on being stewards of God’s gifts.  Our new members and those who missed out on the small group classes during the Legacy campaign are encouraged to attend.

There is a study book (free of charge) and the topics are:

Our First Job:  Steward                     Genesis 1: 26-28

            Accountability                                    Matthew 25: 14-30

The Gift and the Giver                      Matthew 6:19-21

            The Sacrifice                                      1 Chronicles 21

We will meet at 7 – 8 p.m. in the Library.

Come and be challenged as a steward of God’s gifts

The Church for the 21st Century

            Lead by Frank Aichinger

One of the things that has fascinated and challenges me has been how do we live faithful for now and the future.  The way I was trained did not prepare me for the church and world I live in today.  This class is a lively discussion of how we build a church that will last into this new millennium.

Sunday:           What Has Changed?

What does it mean that we are post-whatever?

Monday:         Why Is Today like the 16th Century?

What the Reformation can teach us about today?

Tuesday:         The Presbyterian Question

How has the PCUSA responded or not responded to the challenges?

Wednesday     From Mainline to Missional

Some Clues on What Tomorrow’s Church might look like.
