        Missions
         At MPC we support several types of missionary work – Abroad, Local
        Missions and Campus Ministry.  Many of our missionaries are in foreign
        lands working with foreign cultures.  They can be found in Africa,
        Thailand, Romania, and Hungary to name a few. Not only do they have
        to deal with learning a new language, but they also deal with adapting to
        a new culture in order to allow God’s work to be done through His
        missionaries.

        Please pray for these missionaries
                -The ability to adapt to their new place God has placed them
                -For guidance and direction
                -For their safety
                -For their spiritual growth
                -For their health
                -For evidence of God using them
                -For their support/fund needs
                -For the physical and emotional well being of family members back
                 home
                -For worship, growth and fellowship opportunities

         We also offer support to organizations through our local mission
         services. These groups consist of:

         Chester Eastside Ministries – an inner city ministry in Chester
 
         Presbyterian Children’s Village in Rosemont.  Displaced children’s
         shelter.
 
         House of His Creation – Lancaster.  Support for unwed mothers
 
         Upward Basketball - Media  Basketball league run by MPC that reaches
         both children and their parents.
 
         Medical Benevolence Foundation - International medical missions.
        
          City Team - Philadelphia/Delaware County. Outreach and care
         giving to destitute and homeless men, women, children and families.
        
         Rambo Scholarship - India  Support for medical missions in India.

         Kids Club – Media. An MPC program that reaches out to students at
         Indian Lane Elementary School on Thursdays from 3:25-4:30 pm.

         Gideons – Philadelphia. A Bible distribution program.

         Youth Mission Trip – Each summer our youth will participate in a mission
         experience.

         Campus Crusade for Christ is a worldwide, interdenominational Christian
         ministry that seeks to show people how to know and experience God’s
         love and plan for their lives.  1,029 college campuses in the United
         States and beyond expose millions of students to the gospel each year.
