Deacons’ Doings            

The Deacons wish to thank the congregation for the many donations of non-perishable foods  and hygiene supplies that are collected in the Narthex for City Team Ministries and Chester Eastside Ministries.  Area foodbanks are reporting that their inventories are in critical short supply this summer.  Meat items such as canned tuna, chili and meat sauces are especially needed.  So please continue to bring your items to the narthex and the Deacons will make sure that they are distributed.

Additionally, because of the generosity of the congregation, the Deacons have made a donation to City Team Ministries in the amount of $250 to support their backpack and school supplies ministry.
